ADOPT-A-SCHOOL PROGRAM

About Our Program
Our Adopt-a-School program targets Title I schools in Broward and Miami-Dade County by assisting students and teachers with classroom essentials, school uniforms and supplies.
This program helps by partnering with targeted schools and supplying them with the essential resources they need, such as school uniforms, undergarments, school supplies, hygiene products and in some cases, non-perishable food.
By giving families access to essentials they need to allow children to be successful in school, we hope to help combat the cycle of poverty by putting much needed resources into the hands of those that need it and into the hands of those that can assist them.
Our program will help reduce stress levels that are associated with the uncertainty of living in poverty. By providing families with essentials that equip their children with the resources they need to succeed, our program will steer youth in a positive and more confident direction.

Our Commitment
to Schools
Our team will commit to the following:

-
Provide steady supply of school supplies, backpacks, undergarments, hygiene items, and food (as applicable), when needed, based on our available inventory.
-
Deliver supplies to your school.
-
Set up resource and informational tables at the school at onsite events throughout the year.
-
Act as an extended resource to families for any other needs that we can provide via our family resource store, Grace's Closet, in Hollywood.
-
We will work with a dedicated contact person from the school to facilitate distribution of supplies.

Partner School Expectations
As a partner in our Adopt-a-School program, we expect the following commitment.

-
Designate a primary contact person at your school to serve as our point of contact or liaison for all communications.
-
Provide a dedicated space or somewhere in the school where supplies can be stored once distributed by our organization.
-
Have your school liaison commit to helping to manage inventory and distribution of supplies to students and teachers in need.
-
Agree to having your school listed in our communications and pictures posted on our website or via social media as part of our marketing plans and social impact tracking.
-
Inform us of opportunities or events throughout the school year where we can come onsite to set up a table to provide resources and information to students or parents.
-
Identify crisis families, as appropriate, and work with us to get the supplies to you to help where needed.
